J'ai vu un message citant Apocalypse Now, Au coeur des ténèbres, qui a inspiré le film, m'est revenu en tête.

Eh bien, cela nous fait une admiration commune. Conrad fait également partie de mes auteurs favoris. Ses histoires sont à la fois de grands romans d'aventure et des chefs-d'oeuvre d'analyse psychologique, et sont écrites dans une langue extraordinairement belle - surtout si l'on pense qu'il a appris l'anglais assez tard. Je ne trouve d'ailleurs pas ses écrits si "noirs" que ça, à part Heart of Darkness, mais c'est évidemment le sujet qui le veut. Au contraire, il y a chez lui, comme dirait Orwell, "l'amour du beau geste et du combat solitaire de Prométhée contre le destin".

ah ben tu devrais lire le chasseur de Têtes de Timothy Findley qui fait sortir Krutz de son coeur des ténèbres page 181; s'ensuit un truc de fou, sibyllin, dont on ne sait pas où est le vrai et l'inventé.

il y a aussi le très beau Conrad d'Alain Dugrand dans les pages desquelles on apprend qu'en juin 1874 deux hommes et non des moindres auraient pu se croiser à Marseille, Conrad certes mais qui encore ?
