Well, I'm certainly going to get plenty of practice today (not that I need it) as I have a whole bunch of final year uni exam papers to mark, in English, but on Art and Music. I've just realised that the exams that I wrote, have over 400 evaluation points. Rolling Eyes

I love some English words like "Pristine". It is just sublime! English uses rich terminology which would sound rather pompous in French if we used it equivalent.
I love "abnoxious" and "serendipity", "oblivious" and "dismal". Dont you? Which are your favourite English words?

One thing about technical english : I'm amazed how fast french people pick it up, even if they don't speak english at all. Maybe because we are surrounded by those technical terms. Most of the time, my co-workers rather use the english technical terms when they speak french. And I tend to forget the french worlds : when it comes to technic, english comes out first.

Actually it's a daily victory.
Everyday I woke up, I spend hours looking at my incredible natural charm, my legendary smartness and my herculean strenght.

Me too. I lived far far far away France (exactely Bordeaux), It was cold a people was very strage. It was called "Nancy".

It was difficult for me to understand local langage : "salut, gros! Qu'èce tu mamailles ???".

But there was a local drink called "Alcool de Mirabelle", that coult make you forget french warmth.
